The Whitman College Outdoor Program (OP) is sponsoring several Wilderness First Aid Courses that are open to faculty/staff and the community via the Whitman College Outdoor Program.
Wilderness First Responder | January 9-18, 2026
WFR Recertification Course | February 14-16, 2026
Wilderness First Aid with CPR | February 14-15, 2026
Staff and faculty are eligible for the Whitman rate and can either pay via personal means or if authorized by the department could do a department charge with Lish Gutierrez in the OP rental shop reached at 509-527-5965 or via email rileyab@whitman.edu.
Community folks can register for the Wilderness First Aid with CPR course and the Wilderness First Responder course through Lish Gutierrez in the OP rental shop in the Reid Campus Center or reached at (509) 527-5965 or via email rileyab@whitman.edu.
Regarding the WFR Recertification Course from February 14-16, 2026, this registration is done online at the Whitman College Outdoor Program portal.
